PARVÉ
PARVÉ is the Jerusalem based duo of Tomer Damsky and Yaniv Schönfeld, sound artists, performers, experimental composers and relentless adventurers, traveling from the joy and boredom of nihilism to the philosophical aspects of artistic expression and back. They met in Berlin 2013, where they started their stoner-noise-drone duo. Winter 2013 brought Schönfeld back to his artistic base in Jerusalem, where Damsky resided, and the two turned their flat into a studio crammed with DIY equipment and started scheming their next project. Since their formation they have been stretching boundaries between popular and underground music, constantly searching for new hacking methods. During one year they have performed together in countless venues and exhibited in galleries and festivals across Israel, co-composed soundtracks for film and video works, created installations and improvised hours of music, using streets as their free shops, dark rooms as stages and stages as playgrounds.
